Inspiration for the game

From the Game Author

'We were inspired by "Stingray, Stingray (Anything can happen in the next half hour)" written in 2001 by Jim Wallman. Discovering these rules re-awakened our fascination with Gerry Anderson's TV show, which has led to the rules we have written and play-tested in recent months.'

Connecting Two Creative Communities

This project represents a fascinating intersection of media fandom and tabletop gaming culture.

It demonstrates how a passionate individual can transform a beloved narrative universe into a tangible, playable experience using modern technology.

The Tunbridge Wells Wargames Society has not only created a game but also provided a complete, accessible toolkit for others to build, play, and potentially expand upon this underwater conflict.

This creative adaptation ensures that the adventures of Troy Tempest and his crew continue not just on screen, but across gaming tables, fostering strategy, creativity, and camaraderie among a new generation of fans and gamers.
